About Us: Indian healthcare industry is a $100B market and one of the very few remaining sectors which havent been disrupted and colonized by new-age technology companies. As with most other markets of this size, about 10% of the market is served by the premium healthcare providers (Apollo, Fortis, Manipal etc). These companies provide the Mercedes Benz experience to those Indians who can afford to pay for them. However, the rest of the market is highly fragmented and of variable quality as a result a majority of Indians dont have reliable providers of healthcare (like a Maruti or a Hyundai) to trust for their most critical surgeries.

Ayu has created a curated network of 140+ hospitals in Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bengaluru and Hyderabad (And expanding fast) at every price-point to give reliable & affordable medical services (consultations and surgeries) to its customers. We have leveraged technology and process excellence to deliver industry-leading customer satisfaction scores to make us the first choice of all who have experienced Ayu Health once.


The founding team of Ayu health are all second time entrepreneurs. Most of the team from their first venture has joined Ayu health proof of a positive work culture. The problem-space is huge and the Indian patients dissatisfaction with the quality of healthcare is well known. We have raised our series B and are very well-capitalized.


Job description: Even within the healthcare space described above, the words Health Insurance claim are a shorthand for tons of paperwork, back and forth queries, lack of transparency and inordinate delays. Raising and processing a claim is an exhausting process for the patients, the hospitals and the insurance companies involved. This is an industry with a turnover of more than INR 50,000 Crores, but 95% of it is managed manually/traditionally. In-short, this is a large market waiting for systematic improvements and we are going to be the ones to bring about the change.


We are looking for a Senior-level Sales person to shape our sales organization and scale revenue to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible architecting a sales strategy for expanding our business in Bangalore and nearby cities. The person should be excited by selling new products to customers, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.


The position reports to the Head of Sales


Key Job Responsibilities:


- To onboard hospitals for cashless/reimbursement insurance processing.


- To develop a healthy sales funnel and pipeline of hospitals for pitching insurance services.


- To develop relationships with existing hospitals and ensure all issues pertaining to insurance processing are resolved resulting in excellent customer satisfaction.


- Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the companys sales goals


- Land and expand: build process and funnel for manual top-down reachout, onboarding, activation, and expansion


- Projecting Monthly numbers and ensuring to take measures to meet margin targets with healthy MoM growth.


- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally


Skills and Qualifications:


- Should have 5-15 years of experience in B2B sales.


- Have exposure to the insurance industry or worked in the hospital field.


- Should have strong experience in analytics, comfortable in working with excel and Google sheets, word documents.


- Should have strong interpersonal skills and can build relationships with and influence stakeholders.


- Should be an excellent communicator and creative thinker.


- Should be organized and able to juggle multiple priorities and deliverables.
