Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with small and micro enterprise (SME) clients.
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments and financial analysis to understand client requirements and creditworthiness.
- Evaluate loan applications and make recommendations based on sound financial principles and lending practices.
- Manage a portfolio of loans, ensuring timely repayments and adherence to loan agreements.
- Proactively identify client challenges and opportunities, offering expert financial guidance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (credit, operations, etc.) to streamline loan processes and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business growth initiatives focused on SME support.
- Maintain accurate and complete client records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/ Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in relationship management or a similar customer-facing role within the financial services industry (a plus).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit evaluation, and lending practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with regulatory compliance requirements (a plus).
