Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and other referral partners to generate new loan leads.
- Pre-qualify potential borrowers and assess their eligibility for various mortgage loan products.
- Guide borrowers through the mortgage application process, collecting necessary documentation and ensuring accuracy.
- Explain loan terms and conditions clearly, addressing any questions or concerns borrowers may have.
- Negotiate loan terms and interest rates with lenders on behalf of borrowers.
- Process loan applications efficiently, ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong communication with borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the lending process.
- Exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company's mortgage loan portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a related financial services industry.
- Proven track record of originating and closing mortgage loans.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan programs, and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and referral partners.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Proficient in mortgage loan software and CRM systems (a plus).
- State mortgage loan originator license (required).
