Job Title : Deputy Vice President, Risk Management
Location: Gurugram
Role Objective :
Assist the Chief Risk Officer in setting the strategic risk management vision for the organization and executing the strategy in partnership with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Application Roadmap Development: Create a comprehensive Application Roadmap for the Loan Origination System (LOS) and interlinked applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Digital Transformation Support: Lead and support digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies, improve client experiences, and expand market reach.
- SDLC Management: Oversee the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), starting from business requirements documentation (BRDs) to techno-functional specifications, development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production release.
- Business-IT Translation: Translate business requirements for core applications into actionable inputs for IT partners to ensure effective delivery.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis & Prioritization: Conduct cost-benefit analyses for major projects and recommend a prioritization framework that aligns with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage effectively with user groups to meet project delivery objectives and provide regular status updates on various projects.
- Regulatory Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify and implement best practices related to information security.
- IT Governance: Drive the IT governance framework for new product development, enhancement, and release management.
- Project Management: Ensure efficient project management and adherence to project objectives, maintaining rigorous oversight of timelines and deliverables.
- Management Reporting: Provide regular management reporting to update senior leadership on project progress, risks, and outcomes.

Desired Profile:
- Financial Services Expertise: Proven experience in retail financial services, with exposure to SME lending being desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Loan Origination Systems and customer-facing channels such as IVR, ACD, CRM, Internet Banking, and Mobile Banking.
- Digital Integration: Experience in designing and implementing digital journeys and integration with third-party services for KYC authentication, account aggregation, messaging platforms, credit bureaus, etc.
- Technology Trends: Strong understanding of emerging technology trends in retail lending.
Qualifications:
- A graduate or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
