Key Responsibilities:
Branch Operations Management:
- Supervise and lead branch staff, ensuring efficient customer service delivery and adherence to operational procedures.
- Manage cash handling activities, including deposits, withdrawals, and account maintenance, while prioritizing security and accuracy.
- Oversee daily branch operations, including vault management, transaction processing, and administrative tasks.
Customer Service & Relationship Management:
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all branch visitors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Build positive relationships with customers and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Uphold high ethical standards and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Provide effective coaching and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Delegate tasks effectively, identify opportunities for professional development, and motivate staff to achieve individual and team goals.
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment for all branch personnel.
Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on branch performance metrics, including customer service satisfaction, transaction volume, and cash handling activities.
- Maintain detailed branch records and ensure adherence to company accounting procedures.
- Collaborate with branch managers and other departments to achieve operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a financial services environment, with branch operations experience highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- In-depth knowledge of cash handling procedures and relevant regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Excel) and relevant banking software (a plus)
