Leader (Mining)

- Shall assist the Mining Team in various Consultancy / Transaction Advisory assignments.

- Shall assist the team in evaluation of various Techno-commercial options in terms of Mining Methodology & Equipment Configuration, Estimation of CAPEX & OPEX for various Opencast and Underground Projects etc.

- Shall have to undertake extensive Data-search related to latest developments in the Mining and Natural Resources sectors (both on National & International fronts)

- Shall assist the team in identifying new opportunities for growth and diversification

- Shall have to meet specified time-bound targets in terms of not only in terms of number of mandates executed but also in quality of outputs.

- Should have hands on experience in Mechanized Underground / Opencast Coal Mining.

- Should be able to demonstrate quantitative and analytical practices related to the Mining and Natural Resources.

- Should be able to undertake detailed cost and financial analysis for green field & brown field Mining Projects & development of Financial Models.

- Should be able to demonstrate team spirit while working with a diverse team of professionals.

- Should be conversant with preparation of Feasibility Report / Detailed Project Report /Tender documents etc.

- Bachelors' /Masters Degree from a leading university in Mining Engineering.

- Previous coal mining experience of atleast Five (5) years is must, preferably in Coal India Limited or other Mining PSU / Private Sector Corporates

- Working Knowledge of Mine Planning & Scheduling Softwares like MINEX / DATAMINE / VULCAN etc. will be desirable.

- Prior experience of working with a consultancy organization is desirable.

- Should have knowledge of Underground and Opencast Coal mining Technologies.

- Good Costing & Financial analysis skills pertaining to the sector would be an added advantage.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity would be an important criteria

- Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner

- Comfort in and commitment to strong teamwork environment

- Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive

- Sound working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is desirable.

- Willingness to travel is a must
