POSITION: Senior Engagement Manager

LOCATION: Gurgaon, Haryana

JOB OBJECTIVE: To increase revenue and customer satisfaction at multiple client accounts. This involves program management and account management activities, in a matrix team, on multiple project streams, in the Pharma domain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Interviewer to test each of these based on work experience of candidate)

Leadership - Collaborative leadership in a matrix environment, managing accounts, and programs independently or with little support, to deliver account revenue and customer satisfaction objectives.

Account Management

Account Strategy and Tactics, P&L Ownership at Account Level

Business Development for Farming the Account

Leveraging new in-house capabilities across new Accounts

Proposals / RFPs

Coordinating across matrix organization

Facilitating (sometimes leading) Proposal Solutioning - playing the interface role between the client/onshore and offshore delivery teams to make sure proposals meet the client's business objectives

Creative solutions and proposal writing

Program Management (mainly on more complex/ multi-LOB accounts)

Clear and Timely communication across Onshore, Offshore, Horizontals, Verticals to ensure everyone is on the same page on deliveries

Project Management across different lines of business - to take care of the big picture of deliveries for the account

Must maintain high standards of quality and thoroughness. Should be able to monitor accuracy and quality of others' work

Ability to think in advance about potential risks and mitigation plans

Logical Thinking - Able to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyze customer problems, situations, data. Must be able to walk team members through the thought process.

Lateral Thinking - Able to think out of the box to identify and solve client problems, connecting-the-dots in the customer domain, internal capabilities, and market/industry trends.

Handle Client Relationship - Manage client relationship and client expectations independently. Should be able to deliver results back to the Client independently. Should have excellent communication skills - verbal, written, presentation.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

Education :

B-Tech or BE in any engineering discipline with a minimum of 6 years of experience

OR

B-Tech or BE or Bachelors in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operations, Research, Economics or Econometrics with a minimum of 6 years of experience.

Required Experience :

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Pharma domain

Strong preference for vertical/ account management experience in similar organization

Preference for business consulting experience to Pharma organizations

Preference for experience in program management in a matrix delivery organization

Technical :

3-5 years of hands on experience in one or more analytics tools : SAS/SQL/R/VBA/Alterx

Must have worked on tools : SAS/ Excel/ Power Point

Advanced expertise with MS excel

Experience in using Statistical techniques like Regression Modeling/ Optimization/ Structuring/ Machine Learning Techniques

Experience in development or maintenance of processes to manage and improve sales and marketing operations such as Sales Force Sizing/ Promotion Response Modeling/ Market Mix Optimization

Desirable qualities :

Self-Driven for results - Able to take initiative and set priorities; pursue tasks tenaciously & with a need to finish. Able to overcome setbacks which may occur along the way.

Customer Focus - Dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external clients.

Problem Solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Probes all fruitful sources for answers.

Is excellent at honest analysis. Looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers.

Learning on the Fly - Learns quickly when facing new problems. A relentless and versatile learner.
