Role :
- Produce professionally written proposal content that clearly articulates the organization's value proposition
- Take complete ownership of RFP Responses to Clients in Life Sciences and Healthcare Vertical including Storyboarding, most of the content (based on discussions with SMEs), PMO and Pricing
- Decent understanding of various dimensions of analytics in Life Sciences and Healthcare (US and Global)
- Experienced interfacing with multiple stake holders and participating entities for bid management across varied Lines of Businesses, Account
- Management and Sales teams, Quality Groups, Tools Group, Center of Excellence (COE) / Technical Resources, finance, legal & contracts, operations, human resources etc.
- Knowledge Management - Enabling harnessing & retention of knowledge
- Manage, Mentor, Performance Manage the team & Develop Talent
Experience :
Overall 8 - 12 years of experience with 5 years of relevant (Life Sciences and Healthcare) experience. Proven skills in producing and editing proposal content within a complex business environment. The incumbent will be experienced in leading story-boarding sessions, participating in key review meetings / final document review, content sign off and document production
Responsibilities :
1. Bid Response and Defense :
- Lead sessions with bid/proposal team members and key stakeholders - Lead the end-to-end RFP/ RFI process for large deals, reviewer of cross domain bids, solutions construct and commercial model of sizeable deals to develop right win themes
- Respond to the RFP/RFI/RFQs, deliver completed written proposal responses against agreed RFP deadlines, Re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders
- Propose delivery alternatives which address risk and investment appetite, stand out against industry competition and increase chance of our Organization's success in bid process
- Coordinate with the SMEs, Sales teams Ability to coach sales teams and subject matter experts in writing best practice
- Identify Business Development opportunities across the value chain, build solutions framework to address these opportunities including proactive Bid and RFP Research, Competitive research and analysis - Build Pursuit pipeline for Large Deals Team in collaboration with Corporate Marketing, Business Development, and Sales Team - Catch the opportunities early
- Manage Communications in Axtria to advance Large Deals Team charter webinars, webcasts
2. Content Management :
- Lead the team towards Content development for marketing collateral i.e. case studies, competency documents, brochures and other relevant collaterals and identify and rework existing pre-written content
- Present all new proposal content to the knowledge base manager for potential reuse
- Manage the Content / Knowledge portal - make it a smart Search engine including Taxonomy, Segmentation, Comprehensiveness
- Coordinate with SMEs, Sales and Account teams, Delivery organization to ensure Content portal is used as a go-to point
- Deploy Knowledge Champions in various Functions, verticals, and horizontals in the companies
Team Management :
- Manage a team of 3 - 4 and develop their skills across content understanding, content development, storyboarding, managing large bids, communication across stakeholders to ensure adherence to timelines, PMO and various responsibilities across bid management process
- Develop a training calendar based on skill requirement within team
- Maintain a healthy competitive culture within the team to ensure performance
