Area Sales Manager - Retail Business Banking Product
Role Overview:
- The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales and distribution of mortgage products through channel partners (connectors, agents, distributors) and direct sales.
- This role involves leading a team, optimizing performance, and ensuring revenue targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and market penetration.
- Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) and Senior Relationship Managers (Sr. RMs) to optimize sales performance.
- Channel Management: Build, manage, and expand relationships with channel partners to increase product distribution.
- Direct Sales Management: Engage with high-value clients and ensure seamless direct sales execution.
- Market Analysis: Track market trends and competitor activities to develop data-driven sales strategies.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to banking regulations and internal policies while managing product documentation.
Key Requirements:
- 8-12 years of experience in Retail Business Banking, preferably in mortgage sales.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
- Expertise in sales strategy, customer relationship management, and channel partner development.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
