Brief -

At Axis Bank, the said role shall call for acting as a strategic partner to the business with a focus on improving employee productivity and engagement along with the understanding of complex business scenarios, defining and executing the HR strategy for the assigned department. The role shall also call for interfacing with businesses to understand their manpower needs and strategize ways to full fill those. Ensure smooth roll out of performance management cycle, participating in and facilitating employee engagement initiatives at circle level.

Ultimately, the candidate should be able to act as a consultant on human resources management and organizational changes for stakeholder department.

Roles & responsibilities -

Job Description:

- Managing end to end recruitment and employee lifecycle for the stakeholder department.

- Understanding of complex business scenarios, defining and executing the HR strategy for the department.

- Interfacing with businesses to understand their training needs and help in the preparation of their training calendar.

- Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance.

- Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department.

- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.

- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning / Talent appreciation.

- Identify training needs for teams and individuals. Evaluate training programs

- Suggest new HR strategies

Ideal Candidate:

- Proven work experience of 6 to 10 as an HR business partner.

- Excellent people management skills

- Analytical and goal oriented

- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics

- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation

- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices

- Masters degree in Human Resources from tier 1 or equivalent degree.
