The DBAT team has invested in digital capabilities that include building the bank's own engineering team, adapting new age engineering practices and building an API centric architecture to improve customer experience, employee experience and efficiencies
About the Role:
The Digital Product Manager drives the product strategy and executes the Business/Customer need by integrating with the Technology/ Engineering Teams. Responsible for managing the - end-to-end Digital products portfolio at the bank which includes driving the product definition, requirements, design and delivery of new and/or adaptation of current offerings for markets
Key Responsibilities :
- Create new offerings by demonstrating cohesive end-to-end thinking and partner closely with cross functional teams to define the work required to successfully deliver and realize a winning offering.
- Manage all the aspects of product lifecycle, including strategy, conceptualisation, user research, feature requirements, user interface, prototyping, underwriting, rollout and enhancements
- Work closely with engineering team on the technology development and deployment
- Devise digital campaign strategy and initiatives to improve penetration and deepening.
- Measure impact of all campaigns and back it up with appropriate data. Constantly iterating on product offerings based on feedback & data.
- Be the expert for a complete product solutions space by thoroughly knowing the product functionality, constraints, business process, value, customer profile and industry domain (across core processes), how it's used, and where it meets or fails to meet customer needs, helps teams solve problems through problem domain expertise
- Track interesting trends on emerging product offerings that are relevant to business
- Build, and manage an outstanding product team, and keep them motivated
Qualifications:
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
- Graduation/ Post Graduation from a recognized institute
- 5+ years of experience at a leading product portfolio or company with a user-centered focus, preferably in a fast paced start-up environment that runs in an agile manner
Role Proficiencies :
For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following:
- Hand- on experience with all the stages of the product lifecycle with an ability to take tough decisions on critical product features
- Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytic and problem solving capabilities
