Key Deliverables :

- Drive significant business value to the bank by innovating and delivering on key AI capabilities in text, vision and speech along with engineering and technology teams

- Build, manage and deliver key AI products for the bank

- Execute on key data and decision engineering legs to scale AI from team level PoCs to enterprise level scale

- Bringing in industry best practices and advanced AI/ML techniques to the organization

- Partner with Intelligent Automation team to re-invent bank operations and processes

- Build more advanced AI capabilities in the field of Financial Crime in partnership with internal teams

- Research and innovate on new techniques and capabilities on both structured and unstructured data

- Strong governance focus by cataloguing and reviewing AI models on regular cadence

- Review projects on a regular basis with key senior stakeholders - follow agile methodology

- Manage and mentor a specialist team of 15+ data scientists

Experience and Profile :

- Minimum 11 years of prior experience in various fields of data science, data architecture and engineering for data models

- Experience with common data science toolkits such as R, NumPy, MatLab, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras etc.Experience with data visualisation tools such as D3.js, GGplot.Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL.Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase is desired.

- Experience with distributed data/computing tools like Hadoop, Hive, Spark is a big plus

- Acted as a technical thought leader in collaboration with the analytics leadership team, helping to set the strategy and standards for Machine Learning and advanced analytics

- Guided data scientists in the use of advanced statistical, machine learning, and artificial intelligence methodologies

- Team management and mentorship experience is necessary

Proficiencies:

For successful execution of the project, a candidate should possess the following:

- Knowledge /Technical Capability

- Should be good in probability theory and Algebra

- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms

- Proficiency in Python and math & machine learning libraries in Python

- Sound understanding of Neural Networks and hands-on experience with the tensor flow / pytorch to implement deep learning models

- Organizational skills

- Excellent time management

- Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences

- Develop and maintain effective working relationships across levels
