Job Description (In brief):

The person would be a part of the BIU team and will focus on Data Engineering.

The candidate will be responsible for the following in his/her job role:

- Candidate should have knowledge of Banking. Corporate Banking is preferred.

- Should have hands on experience to manage Oracle Developments with Informatica expertise but not limited to.

- Responsible for managing Development, Production Environments along with Project handover to operations or Ops monitoring team.

- Designing Datamarts and Data Layers, Infra requirements to strengthen Data Engineering Landscape capacity.

- This will include solving for day to day issues of Production DataMarts

- Troubleshooting infra issues such as Performance issues, slowness, infra mgmt.

- Creating infra forecasting strategies for Oracle/ BDL areas.

- Good knowledge on Data Warehouse / Big Data Lake.

- Status reporting on Weekly, Monthly basis and follow the escalation matrix.

- Responsible translating/understanding functional requirements, to technical specification and SDLC development in Oracle/ETL/SQL areas.

- Role is not limited to manage but expected to involve in Coding, Testing, Implementation, Documentation etc.

- Designing Data Pipelines with multiple systems and cross platform technologies.

Skill Sets required :

- SQL knowledge for Strong data handling, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to process large volume of transaction level data and efficiently derive actionable results.

- Having a - results oriented- attitude with - Go get it done- skill

- Good project management skills while working with both internal and external partners.

- Should have a high degree of motivation with a continuous thirst for learning.

Technical Acumen:

- Languages / Concepts: SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse, BDL Concepts

- Programming Database: Oracle 11g, Sybase, BDL

- Operating System: Windows 10, UNIX, Linux

- Tools: Informatica 9 above, Informatica IDQ, Cloud concepts

Key Result Areas :

- Design and Implementation of latest technical development strategies to drive projects and achieve results and profitability for the bank

- Regular Synthesis, Reporting, Analysis, and Insight-driven Infra Management approach for the bank.

- Incident management to the mitigation of risk.

Academic Qualification:

- Bachelor / Advanced Engineering degree (master's or above) in Engineering/ Computer Science.

Experience: Minimum 12 Yrs
