- Branch Head is one of the pivotal leadership positions in the bank as he/ she spearheads the entire sales and operations function of a branch. The Branch Head forms the bedrock for steady growth of the bank's retail franchise through Business Development, Smooth flow of financial transactions at the branch level, Revenue Generation and Profit.

- He/ She interfaces with key accounts/ customers (e.g. top 10% of revenue generators) to establish and strengthen relationship to boost sustained business.

- The Branch Head also needs to ensure compliance of all processes according to bank's policies/ procedures including audit, statutory, review daily reports (e.g. overdrawn accounts, temporary overdrafts, Cash Retention Limit, office accounts, etc.) and take proactive action to ensure profitable and ethical business.

- As a leader, the Branch Head is expected to create a performance oriented environment, ensure that all branch staff are aware of bank's Products and processes, Mentor branch staff and create awareness of various policies of the bank with regard to customer service and compliance.

- The Branch Head also ensures proper upkeep of branch premises and assets. He/ She should be open to relocation as the job is transferable in nature.

Key Result Areas :

Sales - Growing the Current and Savings Account (CASA) franchise in a steady manner to achieve incremental growth over the year

Customer Management - Look for every business opportunity associated with all individual/institutional customers

Operational Excellence - Adherence to processes through all branch resources and driving the business growth in a compliant way

People Management - Responsible for enabling the team to deliver more and effectively. Also focus on capability building of the team.

Academic Qualifications Required :
