Axis Bank - BIU Financial Analytics Role - Cards & Payments Vertical

This Role is in Financial Analytics(Cards & payments) team.

Key responsibilities include

- Budgeting - Preparing Budgets for the various Payments businesses (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, Other Cards, Other Digital Payments)

- Evaluating historic trends across different sub-segments and setting targets for key business metrics

- Deep Dive - Conducting deep dive analysis into reasons for revenue leakage & cost overruns

- Conducting root cause analysis to identify Revenue/Cost variances from budget

- Driver Analysis - Identify pre-emptive/lead drivers of revenue/cost.

- Ascertaining key business metrics (controlled by different cuts) on revenue/cost

- Cost Optimisation - Identify opportunities for cost optimisation in the Cards business (Network, Marketing, Loyalty etc.)

- Conduct digital invoice analysis, compare it with benchmarks and identify cost optimisation opportunities in the Cards & Payments businesses

Requirement

- Candidates with 0-3 years analytics experience (preferably in the Cards/Payments business)

-Educational Qualifications - Degree, Post Graduation in Engineering/Economics/Accounting/Finance

Excel proficiency a must

Coding Experience - SQL, SAS, R/Python - Proficiency in at least 1
