Job Description - Sr Manager- Finance:

Position Summary: As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Sr. Manager - Finance will report to the Managing Director of the company and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The Sr. Manager - Finance will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities of the company. The incumbent will develop the financial well-being of the organization by connecting financial results with operating performance and initiating plans for value enhancement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounting and Finance :

- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the organization

- Compliance with accounting standards and ensure propriety of financial statement assertions

- Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.

- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable standards and guidelines for financial and tax reporting.

- Create and manage all financial policies to ensure fiscal responsibility within the organization

- Monitor & / followup for Customer Collections and managing Vendor Payments.

- Co-ordination with external auditors, banks, and other agencies.

Reporting :

- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company

- Responsible for financial reporting, both for internal performance analysis and external financial reporting.

- Manage India's financial reporting processes, providing accurate and meaningful data in a timely manner

Compliances :

- Monitor and ensure periodical Statutory compliances under various laws such as Income Tax - TDS, VAT, Service Tax, etc.

- Advising management on taxation - Direct and Indirect - and tax planning matters.

- Coordinating with external consultants for ensuring tax compliances with regard to assessments, appeals and submission before various tax authorities.

- Coordinating with external consultants for Board and General Meetings and other statutory meetings and managing related compliances with regard to ROC and other filings.

Other Finance Management / Controlling :

- Responsible for creating polices and guidelines for consistent allocation of expenses to different cost and profit centres

- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

- Verifying and finalising Payroll and related activities.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.

- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.

- Interface with all levels of the organization to optimize cost and maximize profitability

- Should have experience in partnering with an executive team

Qualification and experience :

- Should be a Chartered Accountant/ ICWA.

- 9-12 years- experience in progressively responsible financial leadership role, preferably in an IT services company.
