Process Brief :
- BI reporting team in AXA Business Services (AXA BS) was established in 2005 - 2006 to provide customized MI reports to various AXA entities.
- Over the years the team has evolved into firmly establishing itself as an integral part of different teams across AXA Group.
- Team is involved various BI activities
- Involved in development / maintenance of BI tools using various technologies (Qlikview, MS BI, Tableau and INFOR)
- Providing standard MI reporting using VBA and excel.
- Work as consultant in designing new dashboards.
- The team has now embarked on the next growth phase entailing new opportunities identification and converting proof of concepts into new engagement support services for AXA BS
Position Summary :
- Manager would be responsible to manage various technical BI teams (BI Tools development using Qlikview, MS BI, Tableau and INFOR).
- Responsible for leading & motivating a team of 15 to 20 members including 3 to 4 technical consultant directly with accountability on all Service Delivery parameters
- Also responsible for building and maintaining client relationships-managing operational challenges and driving efficiencies in the process.
- Work as Project manager for new development projects.
- Work as Technical / Business expert.
Key Accountabilities :
- Make sure all agreed SLA are met on regular basis.
- Work as Technical / Business expert and provide guidance to the team in key projects
- Work closely with developers in the team to manage the assigned projects for developing new BI Tools based on SQL, Qlikview or MS BI SSRS
- Customer Satisfaction- Proactively anticipate customer needs and ascertain means to improve satisfaction and monitor levels.
- He or she would be required to front end with the clients- maintain governance.
- He or she would be responsible for complete evaluation of team- both on Skill & Competency.
- Identify, drive and own efficiency projects.
- Capability Building - Facilitate career planning & development for entire team with a focus to build resilience in the team. Work on building team's capcbility in new areas like (Other data visualization tools and report analysis).
- Ascertain means for retention - Devise and implement means for creating a participative work environment and thereby improving.
Specific Knowledge Required :
Technical Experience :
- Strong SQL & PL / SQL knowledge.
- Understanding of Qlikview, MS BI, Tableau development
- Strong insurance knowledge will be added advantage
- Pursuing or completed PMP certification.
- Excellent problem solving techniques
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Soft Skills Required :
- Excellent communication & customer management skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different geographies
- Excellent Analytical & Problem solving skills

Specific position related experience :
- Technical Team management experience of 4 -5 years
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders
- Project Management experience for 2 to 3 years with knowledge of reporting- analysis- coordination across stakeholders etc.
- Experience of working on SQL, PL SQL, Qlikview/ MS BI / Tableau etc.
- Knowledge of Insurance will be added advantage.
- Overall experience of 8 to 10 years in which at least 4-5 years in management Role.
- Experience of handling migrations / new projects.
