JOB DESCRIPTION :
Position : Senior Manager - Business Development (Auto)
Reports To : Director Business Development
Based in : Noida
Job Purpose :
Accomplishes business development activities by developing sales opportunities and plans; assists director in implementing and achieving sales plans; managing the sales team.
Responsibilities :
Sales Activity :
- Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities (Key Account Management) with automobile OEMs, Insurance companies, Taxi companies et al.
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
- Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
- Take ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company's ambitious growth for RSA, Extended Warranty and other automobiles related services
- Working to stringent targets, will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business call
Sales Planning :
- Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and acquisition of new clients
- Salesforce management, end to end pipeline management and reporting.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Supporting the operations and network team in new project implementation.
Managing portfolio quality :
- Coordination with the management team on pricing and product underwriting.
- Takes ownership of all the current contracts and works on the improvement areas as per company's requirements.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Responsible for presentation of the company's profile and services to the CXO level committee of potential customers.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Competencies Requirements :
- 7+ years of marketing experience
- Masters in business or marketing
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office tools.
- Very strong verbal &written communication skills
- Willing to travel 50%
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with clients, staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams.
