AVP Advisory -Wealth/Portfolio Management

This role reports functionally to VP - Global Advisory Lead (GSC Bangalore) and will focus on building and enhancing the advisory proposition across client segments. Key responsibilities include:

- Deliver best-in-class advisory services to clients through the development of investment platform and enhancement of portfolio analytics.

- Handle modelling methodology for asset classes and securities that adheres to product suitability, risk frameworks and governance requirements.

- Unify the advisory client journey across market segments globally by developing features and tools for efficient portfolio construction.

- Support the commercialization of the advisory proposition.

- Build up a robust knowledge base on the different tools that can be utilized to institutionalize the advisory framework and provide guidance to the stakeholders accordingly.

- Collaborate in an agile environment as the subject matter expert with Transformation and IT in specialized work streams to develop new product features.

- Provide sales enablement support related to Global Advisory.

- Undertake Product Management activities for Global Advisory (incl. Prism Advisory in Asia)

What you'll do (List out Key Responsibilities):

Responsibilities:

- Interface closely with Blackrock and internal IT to develop or enhance Advisory features is utilizing.

- Collaborate with various IWS product teams to incorporate the relevant investment content into the Advisory process.

- Provide domain expertise to resolve BAU/Operational issues from booking centres related to Global Advisory.

- Manage the quality of advice and the model methodology within the Advisory architecture framework.

- Liaise with other local platform teams to enhance the UI/UX for the advisory client journey.

- Perform critical data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and stability of outputs from key platforms like Aladdin, ART, eFOS, Avaloq & Qliksense.

- Collaborate with global & regional Advisory team on sales enablement topics and solve topics related to portfolio construction and investment content.

- Resolve advisory topics related to portfolio analytics escalated by the front office.

- Manage risk governance by maintaining Target Operating Manuals (TOM) and relevant process documents for audit purposes.

- Monitor and administer shared workspace/mailbox to track and address Advisory related queries.

- Develop Product Management domain knowledge and effectively manage governance forums like topic specific workstream meetings to commercialize Prism features.

- Design MI dashboards and liaise with data providers in the bank for streamline process.

- Strive to embed accuracy, consistency, operational efficiency and risk management attributes in the process design and business frameworks.

Targets & Measures:

- New or enhanced features developed.

- New or enhanced investment content that can be utilized for the Advisory client journey.

- Stakeholder feedback on resolving BAU issues.

- Stability, scalability, and accuracy of the Aladdin platform and overall system architecture supporting the client life-cycle management.

- Nil evidence of breaches towards the bank's policies & regulations like Data Protection and Privacy, Anti Money Laundering, Information Risk policy and Regulatory requirements, process specific regulations. Abide by Group Compliance policy.

- Clarity and proactive mode of communication and on time completion of deliverables.

- Subject matter expert within Advisory and develop domain knowledge in investment products like Alternatives and Structured Products.

- Qualitative feedback on engagement & collaboration.

- Exhibiting maturity to navigate complex scenarios, resolve conflicts, co-ordinate well within the team and mentor new joiners.
