AVP/VP - Venue Management Team Lead PM & BA - Financial Services

Role description

This role is to set up and build out a team in Mumbai, India, for the global support of all Venue management activities. The role will involve working closely with the WCO team in London and all other functions involved in the management / control of venues. This is a high profile role requiring an ability to interpret, define, create and implement processes and controls, ensuring Firms continues to be compliant with any obligations (regulatory or contractual).

Role responsibilities include:

Work with WCO team in London to handover / transfer existing tasks to the newly established team.

This will include:

- BAU tasks - venue inventory management, static data, approving new venue requests, rulebook reviews

- Ad hoc tasks - Biennial attestation of E-broker platforms, including a questionnaire based outreach exercise. The attestation covers, product coverage, platform functionality and details of all relevant controls.

- Coordinate the implementation of requirements defined by trading venues (especially in their rulebooks

- Work closely with Global Markets and other Corporate functions to define and deliver a venue control framework, seeking appropriate SME input and management approval and signoff.

- Identification and development of new tasks which should be undertaken by the Venue Management

Skills & Experience Required:

- Good understanding of post-2008 global financial regulation (Dodd-Frank, MiFID II)

- Strong senior Stakeholder management skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Sound administration, organisational and prioritisation skills

- Ability to succinctly and effectively communicate regulatory changes and the impact of these

- Ability to multi-task effectively and to work on own initiative with minimum supervision

- Ability to work under pressure to tight timelines

- Ability to use own judgment and be proactive

- Ability to think independently and challenge and escalate where necessary
