Job Description

- A first class finance / Valuation Control division, which continually seeks to challenge and improve standards.

- Positioning of Valuation Control as a more business focused function with a strong understanding of the business and its drivers.

- A strong internal control environment, which will ensure that the IPV process is conducted in a well controlled manner.

- Responsible to oversee and review the BAU controls, reporting, and escalation process for the Treasury and Loans price testing.

- Supervise, mentor and provide leadership to the existing team.

- Actively engage with key stakeholders on issues related to price testing, and act as a Valuation Control's representative on various governance committees with respect to Treasury and Loans.

- Provide timely updates and information to various committees and key stakeholders.

- Research best market practices, and keep abreast of regulatory changes with respect to benchmark submissions.

- Assess the impact of regulatory changes, and implement additional controls on a need-be basis.

- Provide feedback (from VC's perspective) on methodologies used for price testing.

- Provide leadership on automation projects, and various regulatory projects related to benchmark monitoring process.
