AVP/VP - Technical Accounting - USGAAP - BPO

Senior Resource ( AVP / VP ) Technical Accounting

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead USGAAP Technical Accounting, Financial SEC Reporting and SOX;

- Supervise and manage key and complex accounting matters like revenue recognition, business acquisitions, impairment assessment, etc.;

- Review 10-K/Q, 8-K, Proxy for filing with SEC. Support the preparation of financial statements and MD&A along with the Deputy Controller;

- Participate in preparation of earnings call and audit committee meetings;

- Provide support to internal customers like pricing, M&A, business finance etc. for transaction and contract structuring;

- Liaise with external and internal auditors on all key audit matters;

- Advice process owners for SOX compliance, remediation of control exceptions and evaluation of severity of the same for being a D, SD or MW;

Knowledge, Experience, Education :

Essential :

- Strong USGAAP knowledge with Big4 audit exposure

- Ability to present to leadership in reviews

- CA/ CPA

- Work ex of ~ 10+ yrs with experience of managing small teams

Specific competences (Essential) :

- Strong USGAAP knowledge with Big4 audit exposure

- Ability to analyse and understand commercial sense of transactions

- Ability to understand and analyze financial statements

- Multi-tasking abilities to handle various issues simultaneously and work under tough timelines during quarter close

- Communication (oral and written)/ debating prowess/ executive presence

- People skills to manage team and relationship management to manage senior stakeholders
