AVP/VP - Taxation - Captive Banking

EXPERIENCE: Min 6-10 yrs

LOCATION: Pune

REQUIRED SKILLS

Technical skills

- Accounting qualification with advanced accounting knowledge. Minimum 6-7 years relevant experience in tax accounting and working knowledge of deferred tax

- Advanced MS excel skills, outlook, internet

- Effective verbal and written English communication skills

DESIRED SKILLS

Technical skills

- UK Tax compliance including preparation of UK tax returns and IFRS statutory accounts tax notes

- Working knowledge of multi-GAAP and impact on deferred taxes

- Financial Accounting

- PeopleSoft Financial

- US GAAP & IFRS

- MS office tools: Expert excel skills (including macros), word, power point

- Abacus (or tax return software)

Behavioural skills

- Ability to analyse problems and proactively recognize need for action

- Ability to prioritise tasks appropriately and recognise when issues need escalation

- Ability to organize workload, to set priorities and to meet strict reporting deadlines

- Integrity and compliance with CS’s legal and moral standards

WORK EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND

Preferred:

- Public accounting & audit experience desired but not required

- Prior Financial Services Industry experience desired but not required

- Banking and Financial Product Experience desired but not required

EDUCATION

- Bachelor’s degree, with a major in Tax, Finance or Accounting or similar practical experience

- Proficiency in English

- CA (mandatory)
