AVP/VP - Supply Chain - EPC/Power/Energy

Candidates who have handled a business volume of US$ 1 Billion plus will be considered only .

Candidates may be from Electrical/ EPC Power Project/Energy Companies

Key Responsibilities

- Direct and lead the purchasing and negotiation strategies, programs and activities in an efficient and cost effective manner. Establish strong working relationships with strategic partners to optimize value creation for all parties

- Engage with the Country Operations Leader to ensure that effective strategies are developed and implemented regarding targeted areas of engagement.

- Interpret and act upon changes in global and local markets to provide leadership and guidance to the overall Supply Chain team

- Should be able to manage active communication with leaders from Marketing, Operations, Finance, Quality Assurance, etc. for concept development, designing new programs, discussing product options, providing market education, etc.

- Manage multiple third party-purchasing relationships to ensure the highest levels of service are provided, effective communication strategies are in place, and that mutually beneficial partnerships exist

- Provide leadership and support for the department- led efforts regarding Supply Chain Transformation

- Travel domestically and internationally, as needed, to current and prospective suppliers to provide product and process familiarization, resolution of issues, product development assistance, general business updates, product cost negotiations, etc.

- Assist in Supply Chain business planning, as needed

Must Haves:

- BE + MBA, in business management, or operational management

- Min 15 + years of experience

- International working experience would be preferable

- Working experiences in multi-culture environment

- Strong Communication Skills

- Project leadership skills

- Operational experience in Purchasing and Logistics

- Process and task oriented

- Financial knowledge would be a plus
