Name of the position : AVP/VP Public Relations

Location : Gurgaon

Key objectives

Reputation Management,Planning, coordinating and successfully implementing PR & Communication strategies tactics to support the company's business objectives in a given media channel, in given geographies or through given initiatives. Managing the Financial Literacy and Transparency Initiatives as the targeted positioning of the company. Monitoring, analyses and reporting on different media coverage of the company and competitors.

Responsibilities :

1.Managing the company's sustainable reputation through planning, developing and implementing PR strategies, tactics and initiatives

2. Leading the PR team to deliver beyond expectations

3. Handling Crisis Communication (in cooperation with other departments), developing tactics for crisis communications in both traditional and social media

4. Closely cooperating with other company's departments in customer complaints' resolution provided they may create an issue and/or a crisis

5. Inspiring the company's efforts in progressing towards full transparency vis-a-vis customers, leading Financial Literacy Initiatives across the company

6. Developing and maintaining professional relationship with the decision-makers in Indian media.

7. Managing the external deliveries from Public Relations Agencies and other Vendors

8. Managing the company's presence at social media

9. Feedback to the Head of PR on achievements, issue and problems

10. Feedback and cooperation requested from PR/Communications at the Group level

Education/Experience:

1. Master Degree (preferably in Economics, International Relations, Media Management, Communications/Marketing, Journalism)

2. Foreign studies certicate (a prove of reasonable training abroad)

3. Minimum five years of experience at the same/similar position in India (the experience from a foreign company or an internationally-based PR agency is the advantage).

4. Proven track record in dealing with both traditional and social media, understanding of social media management

5. Proven skills in issue and crisis management

6. Ability to think independently and out of the box, excellent abilities in interpersonal communications

7. Ability to develop and maintain informal networking necessary for the excellent performance

Knowledge:

1.Sound knowledge of the international concept of Public Relations profession

2.Fluent in English (full oral and written command)

3. Persistent, performance-driven and solution-oriented

4. Highly trustworthy and energetic, proactive an enthusiastic
