AVP/VP - Proprietary Equity Desk - Equity/Mutual Fund - Banking

Preferably CA/ MBA candidates.

Responsibility -

1. To study and analyze the condition of the market and conduct a detailed research on the financial, social, and economic data and information

2. To buy and sell the shares and securities by utilizing short term trading models which are automated

3. To recommend ideas and suggestions in order to improve the present algorithms or help in the creation of new ones

4. To design potential strategies related to trading and determine a course of action that needs to be taken

5. To evaluate the risk involved and make appropriate decisions and prepare the relevant reports

6. To constantly monitor and review the transactions to verify the accuracy and ensure that they are in conformance with the rules and regulations of the governing organizations

7. Function as Trader for Equity/ mutual fund investments by the proprietary desk of the Bank.

8. Execution of trades & ensure smooth settlement process.

9. Ensure that all the trades executed are in compliance to Regulatory guidelines & internal investment / risk management policies.

10. Seek / explore trading opportunities through interaction with Equity Brokers & Intermediaries in the market.
