AVP/VP - Project finance - MNC Bank

The candidate would mainly cover EU & US regions supporting a team of traders across a global Structured Credit Trading business. The business specializes in providing structured liability side solutions secured by both liquid and illiquid collateral in the form of Repos, Loans and TRS and providing credit linked investment products including vanilla and structured CLNs, repacks of liquid and illiquid securities and leveraged note instruments.

The candidate would get an exposure to various trading activities for both liability and asset side business along with working on the financial and credit analysis and performance.

What will you be doing?

- Assist trading desk with new strategies across structured credit (financing and asset side): margin payments call, interest payments, RWA/LBS, hedges and exposure

- Assist the onshore traders on all aspects of repo trades (substitutions, collateral funding with internal desks, financing, manage trigger events, fixings)

- Manage TRS Bookings in DMX and CATS

- Manage all non-economic term related transactions

- CLN Pricing and repack swap pricing. Develop basic Understanding of CVA and XVA

- Manage trade bookings for structured credit on financing side and asset side complex structures

- Help manage all risk reports (credit risk, market risk, capital, and funding) and daily PnL reconciliation for structured credit trading

- Help the desk to value positions and distribute prices to relevant internal teams

- Assist in building and optimising everyday tools used by desk traders

- Analyse financial models and statements of the prospective clients

- Assist in monitoring the credit performance of the obligors in the existing trades

What we're looking for:

- Basic knowledge of Credit instruments, their risk factors and pricing

- Quantitative background from a top tier school, with basic experience on a similar structured business

- Excellent communication skills (oral/written) as the candidate would be extensively working with Onshore teams globally
