- Project Execution is responsible for leading the organizational efforts towards Project Management & Execution for solar projects at Sembcorp Renewables.

- The role holder is responsible for both Project Execution and Construction to ensure all project activities are executed safely, cost effectively, to schedule and meeting the defined technical specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and site management. Coordinate all project aspects from design, engineering, contract finalization, procurement, construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations

- Monitor project costs against plans, review for completeness and accuracy, and ensure funds are spent as specified. Address roadblo cks and issues when necessary, revising plans, timelines, and budgets in consultation with the CEO and COO.

- Oversee optimization of plant performance to meet planned timelines and schedules.

- Ensure process safety excellence and compliance with statutory regulations throughout project execution. Maintain high standards for safety, time, cost, and quality.

- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to address challenges, protect against overruns, and ensure stakeholder expectations are met.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Procurement, HSE, and Finance, to achieve integration of operational requirements and project execution.

- Provide relevant inputs during negotiations with contractors and ensure alignment with Sembcorp's expectations.

- Evaluate contractors and vendors, monitoring their performance to ensure adherence to quality and contractual obligations.

- Handle contracts and dispute resolution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with legal requirements.

- Provide timely reports on project schedules, milestones, and progress. Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.

- Address contingencies and deviations in project implementation, ensuring timely solutions and effective management of unforeseen challenges.
