AVP/VP - Procurement - Telecom/Construction - IIT/NIT

Must have procurement experience for telecom & construction - Tower, fibre, electronic switches, cables, DG sets, Utilities.

Procurement Strategy Formulation and implementations:

a) Understand the telecom & constructionist current and future business imperatives, competitive environment, and objectives and align the procurement strategy with the same

b) Implement Company procurement strategy & plans to ensure optimal functioning of operations

c) Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.

d) Apply systems knowledge and appropriate business processes in the establishment of centralized Procurement function

e) Review and approve strategic sourcing plans for operating plants and projects.

Procurement Systems & Process Design and Implementation:

a) Design robust, efficient and transparent procurement systems and processes and drive implementation of the same across Energy Sector.

b) Work in collaboration with relevant agencies/ vendors to develop appropriate tools and drive the implementation of the same across businesses

c) Ensure Procurement Strategies are adhered across Telecom & Constructionist and implement robust governance systems for monitoring uniform implementation.

d) Finalization of Annual Procurement Plan for all Plant / Project and Implement & monitoring of the same.

Process Improvement and Cost Efficiencies :

a) Conduct business wide spend analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement / cost efficiencies

b) Leverage the business spend base to drive cost synergies across Plants / Projects.

c) Conduct commercial due diligence for key items on a monthly basis

d) Develop tools that would drive process efficiencies and enable overall procurement process governance across group businesses.

Stakeholder management:

a) Manage relationship with key stakeholders and vendors to ensure that the overall telecom & constructionist procurement objectives are met

Team Development and Management :

Engage with the team to motivate and foster teamwork, understand and address their concerns and provide a collaborative environment for them to develop.

- Person should be from Premium Engineering only ( IIT / NIT preferred )

- Age should not be more than 45 yrs

- Experience - 15 + to 22 yrs

- Current designation should be GM / AVP level

- Must be from Refinery, Plant, Road, Highway, Pipelines project ( Refinery is preferred )

- Current CTC should be more than 70+ L/A
