To work with leadership teams and TMT clients. Support business development and delivery of various opportunities/engagements in TSE

Integrations:

- Develop integration vision and strategy

- Recommend design principles, target operating model and assess readiness

- Undertake detailed functional integration planning (e.g. RTM/GTM, operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, HR etc.)

- Support delivery of functional integration plans

- Structured Integration Programme Management

Carve-out and separation :

- Evaluate exit readiness and develop separation strategy

- Evaluate financial and operational interdependencies, standalone and one-off costs

- Define separation road map

- Support Day 1, interim and end-state operating model definition

- Provide inputs on transitional services requirements

- Evaluate impact of separation on retained business (e.g. stranded costs)

- Structured Separation Programme Management

Synergy assessment & delivery :

- Identify areas of potential synergies / dis-synergies and establish the degree of integration required

- Define road map for delivery of synergies and advise on synergy benefits tracking

- Support implementation of synergy initiatives / delivery of benefits

Operational due diligence :

- Evaluate current operational capabilities and seek to identify red flags on operational issues and risks

- Identifying opportunities for EBITDA and cash improvement post transaction

- Post deal improvement / transformation

- Identifying opportunities for EBITDA and cash improvement post transaction

- RTM/GTM - revenues / sales growth opportunities

- Supply chain / Operations - cost reduction / efficient improvement opportunities

- Back office functions - cost reduction / consolidation opportunities

- Develop and implement plan to achieve transformation objectives

- Support the development and delivery of technical and commercial proposals, attending pitch meetings, presentations /proposals

- Active role in the identification of opportunities by farming existing relationships and growing new networks within and outside the firm

- Support internal practice development effort including development of tools, accelerators, methodologies, thought leadership and market propositions

- Active ownership for Quality and Risk Management (Q&RM) throughout client engagements, determining that all client work is delivered consistently complying with Ernst & Young's Q&RM guidelines

Skills and attributes for success

- Consulting / functional experience in Telecoms, Media, technology sectors (including Sales and distribution, Operations, Customer experience, Transformations)

- Engagement experience / line-management experience with TMT clients

- Work experience across deal life cycle from pre-deal due-diligence to post acquisition integration / divestment support

- Ability to provide insights on aspects of M&A transaction that are relevant and valued by clients

- Business development skills including support on preparing pitches / proposals

- Programme management experience and track record of successful delivery of change programmes

- Cross sector experienced preferred

- Demonstrated experience in selling of Consulting services, including through RFP responses/proposals or follow-on sales leveraging existing engagements

To qualify for the role you must have

- CA/ MBA or any other professional qualification from a premier institute

- 6-15 years of relevant post-qualification experience
