About our Client - Our client is one of the largest investment banks in the world and is looking to rapidly expand its presence in India with new roles and business functions being brought in from overseas.

Job Description - Reporting to the Risk Head, you would manage a team, taking responsibility of progression and monitor development of all team members and be responsible for the following:

- Ensure Data quality controls and assurance for risk and reporting systems

- Basel II reconciliations and data validation

- Data quality monitoring & reporting

- Data quality issue management & root cause analysis

- Driving continuous improvement to data quality and management of data remediation projects

- Providing data for adjustments to improve accuracy of regulatory & internal risk reporting

- Data testing on system changes to ensure Data Quality levels are maintained and/or improved

- Provide additional support to Credit for maintaining data quality of credit reporting dashboards and tools

- Ad hoc queries and projects management Undertake UAT to test system changes for impact on data quality levels.

The Successful Candidate - MBA with 9+ years of experience in the Investment Banking domain

- Professional certifications like CFA & FRM

- Strong understanding of credit risk controls and experience across trade, collateral, valuation, pricing, etc

- Understanding and track record of the Global Markets product set including Equities, Derivatives, Treasury, Fixed Income and Banking

- You should have a strong control background with good understanding of credit/market risk.

- You should also have solid experience in controls in the trading environment.

- Strong leadership skills, experience in leading projects and effective management of senior stakeholders along with strong communication skills are needed.
