We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team at a boutique investment banking firm focused on the Real Estate Vertical. With headquarters in Mumbai and multiple regional offices in India, we are backed by a team of senior professionals with extensive experience in financing, fund raising, and investment advisory.

As the AVP/VP- HR, you will play a critical role in supporting our growth in the SME/Mid-market space across all sectors. You will drive the HR function and ensure alignment with business priorities.

I. Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute effective manpower planning strategies based on business priorities.

- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment and selection of high-quality candidates.

- Establish and optimize the organizational structure to enhance manpower productivity in a dynamic working environment.

- Collaborate with leaders to formulate long-term HR strategies that contribute to achieving business objectives.

- Thrive in an ambiguous and fast-changing enterprise environment.

- Demonstrate a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem solving.

- Utilize data-driven insights to analyze and improve HR processes.

-Uphold high integrity and work autonomously.

- Implement talent management initiatives, such as career development, succession planning, and retention strategies.

- Facilitate smooth onboarding and induction processes for new employees.

- Optimize costs by enhancing work efficiency and aligning hiring with business priorities.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

- Handle employee grievances and concerns with empathy and strive for satisfactory resolutions.

II. Requirements:

- Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

- Hold a full-time MBA from a reputable institution.

- Possess 8-12 years of HR experience, preferably in respected financial services firms or funded start-ups.

- Proficient in managing diverse stakeholders.

- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to handle employee issues with sensitivity, objectivity, and empathy.

- Skilled in data analytics, process orientation, and exception handling.

- A team player with a proven ability to network and collaborate with diverse teams across locations.

- People-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to engaging and collaborating with employees and stakeholders.
