Principal Accountabilities:
1. Marketing
- Work with Business Head, CEO, and Marketing team to ensure that Fabtech's insight, thought leadership and marketing campaigns are properly targeted, driven and deliver return on investment.
- Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives
- Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions and other marketing projects
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, monitor costs and budgets
- Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives
- Offer expert advice to develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events
- Work with business development team and sales teams on brand initiatives
- Manage agency providers, consultants and other partners, including contract negotiation and management
- Oversee the operation of company's website or email marketing program and provide analytical reviews
2. Business Development & Marketing
- Champion best practice business development methodologies, processes and systems across the company
- Lead market research and analysis, providing insight to the SMT/ Board to identify and exploit new market opportunities with existing and new clients
- Partner with Business Head/ CEO to drive the opportunity pipeline, including identifying bidding opportunities and advising on go/no go decisions
- Collaborate with Business Head in business development activities for high value and/or strategically important opportunities, including attending client meetings and participating in contractual and commercial negotiations
- Ensure messages and learnings from client feedback are shared and acted upon to help increase opportunity conversion and client satisfaction
- Ensure company BD/CRM platforms are robust, and that processes are established for recording up to date market intelligence and client data.
3. People Management
- Lead the Marketing & BDM team, providing regular and timely coaching, support and feedback and encouraging development
- Work with Marketing, BD and Sales teams to facilitate a partnership approach that fosters communication and knowledge sharing between all these teams.
4. Commercial Management
- Work with the Business Head to ensure that bids are commercially viable. Establish appropriate systems for maintaining margin oversight at a client/ region level, enabling risks to be identified, and reported to the SMT.
5. Quality Assurance
- Establish QA processes for monitoring compliance with business development systems and practices, reporting on performance to the SMT/ Board
