About the Role :

In this exciting role, you will play a crucial role in driving our investments in promising unlisted companies across key sectors such as Consumption (FMCG, Retail) and Manufacturing (Auto, Pharma, Power, Ports, Infra).

You will be responsible for :

- Sourcing and identifying potential pre-IPO and unlisted investment opportunities : Conduct extensive research and analysis to uncover promising companies with high growth potential.

- Due diligence and company valuation : Perform thorough due diligence processes to assess the financial health, market position, and future prospects of target companies. Develop comprehensive valuation models to determine appropriate investment strategies.

- Creating insightful investment recommendations : Prepare compelling presentations and reports to make informed investment recommendations to the investment committee.

- Deal origination and execution: Participate in deal origination activities and actively contribute to the deal execution process.

- Portfolio management and monitoring : Assist with portfolio construction, monitoring, and performance analysis for unlisted equity investments.

Education :

- CA with a CFA degree (preferred) or and an MBA

Experience :

- 6-7 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related financial services role, with a focus on unlisted equity investments.

- Proven track record of success in identifying and evaluating high-potential unlisted companies.

- Experience in deal origination and execution is highly desirable.

Skills :

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a proficiency in financial modeling tools and techniques used for private equity valuations.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex investment strategies and recommendations.

- Adept at working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
