About our Client : Our client is a global leader recognized among the most valuable brands world over in their domain of business. They have aggressive growth plans for India which will be supported by the Communications Team besides traditional business and want to strengthen their market share within the portfolios they cater to. They are looking for a Corporate Communications Lead.

Job Description: Reporting to the External Communications Head, the key accountabilities will be:

- Create and manage a set of internal communications channels & programs including but not limited to the India employee portal, executive communications, employee townhalls, CEO business letters, etc.

- Ensure India obtains pride of place in internal communications channels both regional & global

- Proactively build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors and successfully position company subject matter with the media to achieve high impact placements

- Serve as one of the key points of contact for media for their requirements for information and inputs by maintaining regular contact with and being available to relevant media ensuring prompt responses to media queries on issues relating to the franchise and its products after liaising and coordinating with the appropriate internal resources/spokespersons

- Ensure company is appropriately represented in relevant industry stories across media by tracking, evaluating and tapping visibility/PR placement opportunities

- Provide end-to-end coordination of interactions of company spokespersons with the media and ensure that these are in compliance with the Country Public Affairs Policy & the Asia Pacific Media Policy

- Develop news content across the entire range of public affairs tools such as press releases, etc

- Working Relationship - various departments/ entities across the franchise in India and with corporate affairs in the region

The Successful Candidate:

- Relevant Prior work experience in external and internal communications with more than 10 years of overall work experience in the communications field.

- Strong communications skills coupled with strong connect with media in India is a must.

- The role involves being able to coordinate with other functions, departments, external stakeholders, etc. besides having good judgment and decision making skills
