AVP/VP - Cash/Collateral & Liquidity

The Brokerage Team within Cash, Collateral & Liquidity Operations is responsible for the verification, processing and settlement of the Firm's brokerage invoices.

The team covers a broad product range of products, including all major asset classes.

AVP -

Main Function

The main function of the team is to ensure brokerage invoices for the investment bank are processed in an accurate and timely fashion. As the responsible manager of the team, this role involves the effective day to day management of the reconciliation function, providing solid oversight and support.

- Day to day management and oversight of the reconciliation team and their activities.

Preferred

- 4-5 year relevant experience and at least 7+ total experience in brokerage processing, including team management

- Knowledge of cross-product financial instruments

VP -

Main Function

- The main function of the team is to ensure brokerage invoices for the investment bank are processed in an accurate and timely fashion.

- A key element of the role will be the focus on controls and the mitigation of risk. This will require working to implement and instill a strong control mindset within the team and open channels of communication through which to escalate issues.

- With multiple in-flight projects within the CCL space, the role will require close collaboration with the CCL Change team and with other colleagues to ensure successful development and implementation of new technology and process enhancements.

- Build out and then senior management and oversight of the reconciliation team and their activities.

- Partnering with senior management (both locally and off shore) to ensure the effective development and implementation of strategy.

- Staff development, including active participation in the appraisal process and objective setting.

- Ongoing review of key risk indicators and MI, ensuring transparency to senior management.

- Actively ensuring a robust control framework is maintained around the reconciliation process, escalating issues in a timely fashion to management and/or Risk.

- Support and manage departmental projects and initiatives.

Preferred

- 6-10 years relevant experience & 14 years of total experience in brokerage processing, including senior team management

- Knowledge of cross-product financial instruments
