Position Title:Senior Sales Manager/AVP /VP Business Development
Reports To:SVP, Business Development
Location:India
Position Purpose: To sell and maintain profitable business in assigned territory or market; attain or surpass individual revenue goals. (Individual sales metrics will be set by business SVP.)
Essential Job Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the sales lifecycle from account penetration, pursuit strategy, and contracting
- Work with clients to craft innovative solutions to address client problems and issues
- Analyze and define customer requirements and architect value added solutions; articulate solution through best means, i.e. written proposal format, oral presentation, visual presentation
- Partner with Alliances/Channels and work with partners for crafting, designing and selling innovative business services via integration of Company services, solutions, and capabilities
- Build and maintain senior level relationships with customers and business partners
- Expand exposure with operations and industry.
- Create/edit and provide input for proposal content
- Achieve or surpass annual sales goals of base and new revenue
- Maintain customer field activity at levels that ensure pipeline and sales goals are achieved
- Create and communicate value propositions
- Develop and implement sales plans and activities
- Maintain a professional, positive work environment where innovation in process improvement and excellent service is encouraged
- Ensures the security and privacy policies, standards and guidelines are disseminated, understood and applied in order to protect the informational assets of both the company and their customers
- Organize/manage time effectively; submit all required administrative information in a timely and accurate manner i.e. leads, call sheets, forecasting, proposals/bids, expense reports and deal closures
Qualifications for Position:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business, marketing or related field and/or a minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience
- Sales experience in BPO, outsourcing and development
- Able to sell in a consultative manner to identify and address client issues
- Must have existing relationships with key executives in the local market
- Experienced with managing all aspects of the lifecycle from account penetration, pursuit strategy, and contracting
- Strong presentation skills and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Project Management experience; uses contemporary project management tools
