Job Description : Strategy Lead reporting into Head of Strategy.

Client Details :

Our client is leading Metal and Mining organization with a command on the market and enjoying a healthy market share. They have a very lean strategy team reporting into the MD. They are going to expand the team and are looking for a Strategy Leader at senior level in their Mumbai office. This role is a success plan for the Head of Strategy as well.

Description :

Reporting into the Strategy Head and managing a lean team , you will be responsible for :

- Driving long term strategic planning activity for the client focusing on growth, competitive advantage, and sustenance in the overall industry context

- Managing and leading strategic projects in collaboration with cross functional teams and business units to address specific challenges faced by the business

- Evaluating and directing the investment proposals prepared by businesses and leading the approval process for the same

- Identifying and evaluating opportunities to enter new businesses or geographies and developing entry strategies for the same

- Leading inorganic growth strategy for the businesses including M&A, joint ventures and other alliances

Profile :

- Ideally you are from a premier MBA institute (Full time) and have 13+ years of experience (post MBA experience) in strategy function or consulting firms.

- Ideally you should have a mixed experience of working with consulting firms and Corporates in their Strategy function.

- You should have excellent stakeholder management skills, analytical skills, influencing skills, communication skills and presentation skills.

- You should be able to look forward, convert ideas into actions and shape leadership thinking on business directions.

- You should have excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment
