Job Description - Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing Analysis for Accounts Disclosure purposes

- Preparing financial statements for annual and interim reporting purposes

- Substantiating each major asset and liability component with in-depth analysis

- Reviewing major movements and variances in the monthly management accounts

- Understanding the accounting transactions of the Group including hedge accounting

- Developing and reviewing accounting treatment for different types of treasury transactions

- Participating in system set-up in relation to accounting for treasury products/transactions

- Devising the appropriate accounting treatment to be adopted

The Successful Candidate - You will be a qualified Chartered accountant with at least six years of experience in the banking field with prior exposure to treasury accounting. You will possess strong knowledge and experience in financial reporting requirements for banking and listed companies and you will also have a clear understanding of treasury products. You will have advanced Excel skills and be a powerful communicator as well.
