AVP Training

Preferred-Candidates with experience across Investments/Insurance/Analytics, HRO, Technical and behavioral training.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Consulting and working with colleagues and the management team towards building organizational effectiveness through various training interventions related to Performance Management, Talent Management, Career Planning, Succession Planning, and Coaching.
Providing expertise in planning, execution, and facilitating employee development programs.
Assisting in the planning, designing and delivery of all training programs - behavioral, financial domain related and technical.
Developing and executing the training framework, establish ROI.
Working towards driving the training costs down while maintaining efficacy.
Assessing effectiveness of training initiatives in terms of colleague performance, employee engagement, and employee turn-over.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
Strategic development, management and implementation of Learning & Development accountabilities.
Strong partnership and alignment with other L&D and training organizations across the company to ensure consistency, effectiveness and efficiencies in practices, processes, etc. as appropriate.
Proactively identify and review L&D needs for business stakeholder, and design & implement L&D plan
Establish rapport with business stakeholders and provide advice on business/operations issues
Work with vendor partners, where needed in the delivery of seamless face to face programs
SERVICE ORIENTATION
Understand and support the business plans and priorities of organization. Proactively partner with senior leadership to develop and deliver learning activities and knowledge resources that align with business priorities and support the attainment of performance goals.
Ensure that training activities and priorities are continually aligned with business priorities.
Assess for gaps in organizational performance and/or employee development and bring forward solutions to implement.
TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENT
Translate the client's business requirements into training needs and subsequently into the training systems design and articulate it to the team with the help of suitable model.
Offer creative alternatives for the fulfilling the training needs
Work closely with business to create and align sustainable, integrated solution.
Deploy instructional approaches to reinforce performance-oriented learning by including blended learning solutions, simulations and experiential learning in curriculum.
Stay abreast of training and development research: organizational development, learning theory, motivation theory, new materials, methods, and techniques.
TRAINING DELIVERY AND REPORTING :
Create, leverage and implement plans for either the development of new or the updating of existing learning.
Drive high-level planning exercise.
Manage time, expectations, and resources, both internal and external.
Manage and track plans of training delivery or content development
Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately
Consolidate and submit physical reports on training projects/initiatives and training performance to concerned groups on quarterly basis and as and when required
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
Supervise and manage the overall performance of teams
Involved in employee selection, career development, succession planning and periodic training of team members
Knowledge & Skills :
Demonstrated successful management / leadership experience
Demonstrated expertise working with human performance technology
Ability to translate business strategies into training and performance improvement plans
Ability to create/develop program content based on requirements
Knowledge of evaluations of training programs and learning effectiveness
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management
Leadership presence and credibility with senior management
Sound written / oral communication skills, conceptual and analytical skills
Possess passion and drive towards delivery of training programs
Skills to interface/liaise effectively with internal customers towards needs' identification and conceptualize, develop relevant program content
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
A strong sense of commitment, meeting timelines and passion towards people capability development are necessary for the role.
Team handling skills would be an added advantage
