One of our leading clients in pune is looking for AVP role with strong work experience in telecom domain.

Job Details:

1. Experience & Knowledge

- Overall 15+ years of experience, with at least 10+ years of experience in telecom consulting/ BPO product/practice development.

- Knowledge of the Telecom Network Industry with excellent knowledge and experience of Wireless, Enterprise & Fixed Line networks (Core / Transport / Access / Edge / Radio Networks) is a must.

2. Key Skills

- Good blend of telecom domain and technical skills

- Strong experience of Telecom Networks and Networks Managed Services

Good negotiation skills and people management skills

- Strong oral & written communication skills communicate with internal and external customers

3. Technical & Professional Certificates

- Master's in Business Administration (Telecom Management) - Preferred

- Post Graduate / Bachelor in Engineering - Electronics or Electronics & Communications

- Depth of knowledge in the domains of: IP/MPLS, FTTx & other emerging technologies

- Preferred knowledge in the domains of Wireline and Wireless technologies like PSTN, UMTS, CDMA, LTE etc. Excellent knowledge of eTOM Frameworx.

- Preferred certifications like : CCNA / CCNP / JNCIS

4. Personality - Keen to frequently travel

- Ability to work with cross functional teams effectively

- Natural ability to relate to customers and prospects

- "Roll- up- your- sleeves" entrepreneurial spirit, start- up attitude

- Proven track record of new product development, implementation & management.

The Position:

The Person will be responsible for developing a product roadmap for the business that ensures development and testing of high quality, high value Application Products/Services and Solution that can be successfully marketed to prospective customers specifically in the Carrier and Media Industry.

Product Management role:

- Direct internal processes to define the Product and Services strategy, roadmap and priorities and Product and Services release management.

- Research, develop & implement a best processes strategy for new Product and Services development, launch and analysis.

- Manage the existing stable/suite of Product and Services and lead the ongoing development of enhancements to support increased value to customers.

- Gather and analyze feedback from sales, marketing, operations and partners/prospects to set the strategic vision for existing products and development of new Product and Services.

- Manage the execution of consumer research to further support rationale for product development and positioning within the marketplace.

- Develop requirements documents and use cases for new product and Services features.

- Monitor the status of development projects supporting new features

- Become an expert on Product and Services, Market intelligence and competitive landscape.

- Product & Services life cycle & profitability management.

- Provide guidance and direction to various product managers on developing new Product and Services and managing the lifecycle of existing Product and Services

- Build a team to support rapid growth expectations.

- Work closely with Engineering Development Organization to ensure Quality, stability, performance and accuracy of product development.

THE RESPONSIBILITY (Not limiting to) :

- Managing the entire practice life cycle from strategic planning tactical activities.

- Identify and present innovative and creative product solutions.

- Project management of all product integration/launches/changes throughout implementation.

- Identify the business and operational requirements based upon the business requirements & objectives of each product.

- Display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products.

- Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations including; IT, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, & Operations.

- Lead the development, approval, training, and communication of new products/product changes and their associated customer, operational, system & process impacts the various internal organizations.

- Develop & conduct specialized training on new products launched and raise awareness & application of the relevant subject matter.

- Monitor internal processes for efficiency and validity pre & post product launch/changes.

- Need focus on multiple aspects like consulting, Pre Sales, Post Sales, Solution build and domain expertise.
