AVP - Technology - IT

- Will lead the product development in Agile and Lean development space, and will have strong contribution to requirement visualization, elaboration to the actual product implementation

- Will lead the Architecture group to drive technology leadership, creating scalable and micro-services based architecture, frameworks, best practices, architecture, coding guidelines and ensuring their adherence.

- Should have clear vision on evolution of technologies, its impact on our business and be ready to adapt it as needed

- Should be able to visualize the requirements, impact on the existing product and must be able to draw efficient and accelerating Sprints to the delivery

- Will manage a team of 50+ and report directly to the Global Head of Engineering, and will be working closely with the executive management members to drive the company strategy forward.

- Proven experience of around 12-18 years as a technology leader or similar leadership role

- Excellent strategic and big picture thinking, yet pays attention to detail along and brings in an entrepreneurial and problem solving mind-set

- Should be a technology geek, with hands-on experience in Architecting, designing and developing large scale enterprise solutions

Functional and Leadership Capabilities

- Program management activities including project scoping, estimation, planning, risk management, finalization of technical/functional specifications, resource administration and quality management of product application

- At least 1 or 2 Enterprise Software Project implementations as a Lead/architect to the project.

- Strong Product Engineering / Product Development (in Banking Industry Preferred)

- Excellent leadership and team management skills to manage the largest team within the organization

Technical Capabilities :

- Hands on experience on a regular basis in

1. Core Java, J2EE-Spring

2. Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, Postgres, MS SQL

Experience in the following 5 Frameworks/Tools:

1. NoSQL : Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis

2. Big Data : Kafka, Spark, HDFS, Hadoop, Hive

3. DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), OpenShift, ELK, Ansible, Splunk, New Relic, Liquibase, AWS, GCP, Azure

4. Dev Tools: Maven, Jenkins, TestNG, Junit, PowerMock, Mockito, Git, Bitbucket, GitLab

5. UI/Full Stack: Angular, MEAN, Node.JS, React
