AVP - Strategic Vendor Management ( IT, Marketing, Real Estate/Facilities, Human Resources, and Professional Services )
Key Responsibilites
Sourcing/procurement
Interfacing with senior business leaders across different business groups
Experience of working with constituents located outside of India.
Principal duties include:
- Manage strategic sourcing of goods/ services for the Company
- Development of strategic sourcing opportunities
- Management of competitive bid processes including RFP- s, RFI- s, RFQ- s
- negotiation of various types of Vendor agreements with consulting various category leads and legal teams: including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) etc.
- Thorough reporting and analyses of sourcing activities at group and functional levels.
Recommending process improvements for efficient cost allocations, accruals, etc.
- Manage a robust pipeline of transactions in parallel with broader strategic projects
- Identification, planning and management of a pipeline of strategic sourcing projects for Strategic Vendor Management
- Market research and benchmarking of suppliers and related service categories
Key Competencies:
- Strong relationships and networks both within and outside the organization.
- Relevant experience in executing MSAs, SOWs and SLAs within categories areas such as IT, Marketing, Real Estate/Facilities, Human Resources, and Professional Services.
- supporting strategic stakeholder projects/escalation requirements
- Strong analytical and communications skills: the successful candidate must elicit and analyze multiple proposals, create corresponding business cases (including financial reports), and present clear and concise summaries of recommended options
- Cost effective
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to negotiate compromises for overall business benefit in the client's interests
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, clients and vendors
- Ability to influence persuade, motivate and compel support for key initiatives from senior management and other key stakeholders, by delivering clear, well-structured presentations
- Experience with competitive bidding (RFI, RFP, RFQ), vendor selection, and vendor risk assessment
- Ability to concurrently manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
- Insight into global and regional marketplaces
- Strong MS Office skills; particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Experience:
- 9+ years of sourcing and vendor management experience preferably with large global organizations within the Financial Services vertical
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business / Computer Science / Engineering
- MBA, Law, or Mathematics or related areas are preferred
Comp Range upto 20 lacs + variables
