AVP/Sr Mgr - US GAAP/IFRS - CA - IT/ITES

CA - AVP / Sr. Manager (US GAAP/IFRS) - Mumbai Powai.

CA batch 2003 - 2007

MUST HAVES:-

Experience working with IGAAP, working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS preferable

Transfer pricing (MUST)

Should be hands on, Can Do - Set up a Accounting BU from scratch, Define SLA, process fllow etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop an understanding of the business, contractual requirements and accounting policies and ensure compliance, produce and run financial reports including P & L for the businesses.

- Financial planning and budgeting

- Drives Business improvement through financial insight, analysis & communication to management.

- Negotiation of financial terms with finance companies / banks

- Should interact with US/UK team and oversee the subsidiary accounting done in India

- Sets agenda & conducts sales collection and reconciliation calls with sales team

- Manages day to day operations through the team

- Manages Internal / External audits

- Challenges current ways of working and initiates change to bring in controls & process efficiencies

- Anticipates underlying issues, highlights impact & provides possible solutions to stakeholders

- Review Balance sheet Reconciliations & ensure all compliance

- Uses in-depth understanding of the business model & the interdependencies to influence decision making process across the business

- Should have knowledge about transfer pricing (MUST)

- Experience working with IGAAP, working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS preferable

- Should have led a team

- Ability to work in small teams and small setup

- Someone from IT/ITES/Consulting background preferred
