AVP - Sourcing & Procurement - Bank

We have an opening for AVP- Sourcing & Procurement with a global universal bank based in Mumbai.

Job Requirement :

- Experience in managing complex sourcing projects in categories like Banking operations (Cash Management Operations, Trade Finance Operations, etc), Professional services (HR services, Recruitment Agencies, Audit Services, etc) Knowledge about functioning of banking/trade finance operations

- Experience in a leadership role and in managing client relationships

- Senior level experience in commercial negotiations

- Experience working in the Financial Services / Management industry

- Excellent relationship management, analytical, problem solving, financial management, strategic agility, influencing and presentation skills

- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal) and local languages, if necessary

- Strong business planning skills

- The ability to work in a fast-paced business environment

- Exposure to a broad range of client groups and business challenges

Required:

- Successful with a multi-year track record in a sourcing or a vendor management organization

- A strong team leader and team player, able to work in virtual, global teams in a dual reporting matrix organization and willing to make tough decisions

- Educated to Bachelor or Masters- Degree level (or equivalent qualification/work experience)

- Able to build and maintain diverse and productive relationships by collaborating with colleagues and influencing activities in order to achieve positive outcomes in the interests of the wider business
