Role Objective:
The incumbent should be open to working with tight timeframes and sometimes unclear requirements and responsible for all sales automation project including work with Tech Development teams on new development projects, or for maintaining and improvement of existing automation (basis feedback from the Field) and Translate field insights from sellers into detailed requirements incl. (in some cases) concept diagrams or graphical representations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Channel SPOC & the IT Development teams to ensure that requirements are understood, developed and delivered within timelines
- Closely work with the IT Development teams in an Agile mode to ensure a co-creation of the digital asset / capability, and do course correction where needed
- Vendor evaluation, preparing BRD, driving POC and final implementation
- Design the front-end and back-end interface for a differentiated customer experience
- Benchmark and evaluate best in class UI and UX
- Aid other distribution channels in achieving adoption targets.
- Delivery of key automation project - End to end application to cater customer onboarding journey/ distributor life cycle management journey
- Adoption target for the digital asset.
Lead the automation projects:
- Automate sales process (move from offline to digital) which leads to increase in productivity, reduction in TATs, better customer experience and stronger connect with front end sales personnel.
- Conceptualise, gathering requirements to identify solutions and deliver.
- Manage automation efficiency needs of channels by working on a single screen deployment which eliminates multiple core system access.
- Develop a scalable framework for addressing the workflow aspects associated with hands offs across different teams for a sales journey.
- Simply processes, eliminate inefficiencies like queuing, idling, removing human interventions, duplication of information etc.
- Build business rules which help in checking, reconciliations and straight through processes for customer / distributor onboarding
- Develop and draw business cases quickly, should use the understanding of how insurance is sold
- Collect feedback on regular basis on performance issues and suggestion for further improvement.
- Should be thorough with SDLC and STLC process for software development and testing. Liaise with channel SPOCs, IT, Vendors, business excellence team :
- Work closely with internal teams to streamline customer/sale personnel experience across different channels, such as building the right framework for real time updates when needed across all channels.
- Should be able to convert business needs into system requirement by applying different requirement gathering method
- Work with partners/vendors to get solutions developed and tested.
- Ensure operational readiness pre-launch by hype creation, conducting training
- Ensure co-ordination between various cross functional stakeholders to maintain smooth functioning & delivery of the automation project.
- Contribute to business requirements and testing to upgrade interface or processes and fix defects.
- Timely dissemination of project status, Dashboards and reports to different stakeholders
- Ensuring project is on track by timely escalation or seeking intervention of relevant stakeholder
- Timely Intervention to remove bottleneck for teams to deliver timely
Adoption of digital assets :
- Track adoption of digital assets.
- Business KPIs related to Digital tools
- Train the trainer/field on using the digital assets.
- Liaise with channel heads and work out ways to increase the adoption of digital assets
- Do the pilot testing with the channels
- Liaise with marketing to create communication w.r.t digital asset
Qualification (Education And Experience) -
- B.Tech, post-graduation would be preferred.
- Should have a prior techno-business experience.
- Should understand insurance business, how insurance is sold, how distribution channels works.
- PMP, Prince 2, CSM or CSPO certification
