The Strategic Communication team is responsible for developing executive communications and compelling narrative tying the results of analytical insights and predictive modelling to business goals and objectives. The Strategic Communication team is responsible for developing executive communications and compelling narrative tying the results of analytical insights and predictive modelling to business goals and objectives.

The U.S. Personal Banking Analytics function is central to the US Personal Banking's mission to be more customer-centric by supporting decision making on multiple levels with the use of advanced analytics and next generation technology. The types of problems we work on include: How has COVID-19 affected spending habits? What do customer want in a digital banking or credit card experience? Which customers will be interested in each of our product offerings and who should we market to with which campaigns?

We are looking for someone who can consult the analytics leaders and synthesize dense, data-oriented information into language that allows key stakeholders to make decisions quickly.

Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end process to produce executive level presentations working with the analytics teams and leaders through: stakeholder analysis, problem statement writing, content outline, executive summary writing, collection of content for PowerPoint, edited to high- standard presentations which appropriately represents the meeting and analytics objectives

- Drawing conceptual charts within PowerPoint to aid senior stakeholder conversations

- Synthesizing dense, data-oriented information into language that allows key stakeholders to make decisions quickly

- Engage with the analytics teams for coaching on presentation and communication skills, to guide them on critical components of storytelling and PowerPoint design

- Lead and own the presentation process from setting topics, timelines with check-ins, deadlines for deliverables and coordinate activities and updates with PMOs and business owners.

- Create and manage off the shelf, pre-designed templates in central libraries for the team to use to produce better documents and ensure consistency of format and messaging in presentations.

- Re- enforce best practices guide so each employee can check quality of their work product before meeting with partners - and to ensure team follows new USPB-wide communications standards (48 hours before, 15 pages or less, topics for discussion, etc.).

- Support the Change Management Strategist and Communications Lead in developing and launching strategic communications materials in service of change management efforts, such as increasing adoption of a new software tool with data science models embedded within it or other innovation and transformation initiatives led by USPBA.

- Interest in defining success targets and articulating those within OKRs or KPIs a plus

Required qualifications

- MBA or equivalent practical experience

- 7+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Analytical consulting experience, or equivalent, working with data to identify trends and new-age analytical techniques

- Excellent verbal written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience and develop high quality materials, especially written documents for senior leadership

- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle fast-paced independent work, under pressure and prioritize tight deadlines

- Self-motivated and able to drive progress with limited guidance and short turnaround times

- Ability to speak confidently in leadership meetings and advise senior leadership on their communications

- People-person, and strong team player, with excellent interpersonal relationship skills, highly empathetic, and early ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization

- Curiosity to develop financial and data science acumen to shape the economic implications of decisions driven by advanced analytical data models

- Experience with MS Office tools, including strong presentation development skills (PowerPoint)
