The Role is in Model Maintenance and reports to VP
Your responsibilities :
As Senior Associate - Model Maintenance your key responsibilities will be:
- Monthly planning (priorities, resources, timeliness etc.) delivery to UK Team, share the plan with and secure their buy-in
- Collect UK team/stakeholder feedback during the mid-year and final appraisal for people in the team
- Sourcing, analyzing and preparing data in support of model maintenance projects
- Delivery of all milestones to agreed dates, budget and quality standards
- Coaching and development of analysts
- Identify areas of process improvement and actively participate in department-wide process improvement initiatives
- BCM - build the BCP document, get a buy-in from client and stakeholders and conduct WAR tests to assess BCM readiness
- Maintain the call tree and update that regularly
- Identify key operational risk indicators and work on the risk mitigation plan
- Proactive identification and effective management and/or escalation of conduct risk to deliver key customer outcomes
- Provide expert support, advice, management information and escalation to leaders and the business on risk management.
The skills you will need
- MBA (finance) or MSc Statistics with 6+ years of experience in Risk Management and 1 to 2 years of experience in People Management
- CFA, FRM (Preferred)
- Financial products and credit risk exposure knowledge including Basel 2 norms
- Regulatory guidelines including CRR, Basel II, III
- Experience in Retail / Commercial / Wholesale Lending
- Ability to undertake data projects and get involved in requirements definition, test and signoff process.
- Tools knowledge related to SAS, OBIEE, BO
- Develop expertise with RBS risk & related systems
- Understanding of Statistical Techniques for Model Building, Validation and Monitoring, credit risk management, lending.
