Responsible for developing and executing the overall sales strategy for the company. Primary duties include managing and leading sales operations, driving sales growth, and directing sales staff to achieve the company's sales goals.
Leading Business Development
1. Responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to promote the company's products and services in the steel industry.
- This includes identifying target markets, analyzing customer needs, and creating campaigns that will effectively reach and engage potential customers.
2. Responsible for managing and leading the sales team, which may include sales managers, account executives, and sales representatives.
- This involves setting clear goals and objectives, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that all team members are working together to achieve the company's sales objectives.
3. Must stay up to date with industry trends and changes in the market. They should conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential threats and use this information to inform their sales strategies.
4. Must collaborate closely with other departments within the company, such as marketing, engineering, and product development, to ensure that all sales initiatives are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
5. Responsible for managing the sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and that all sales activities are cost-effective.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners to stay informed about their needs and preferences, and to promote the company's products and services effectively.
7. Regularly analyze sales metrics such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and customer retention to evaluate the effectiveness of their sales strategies and revaluate as needed.
Desired Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
