About our Client - Our client is a leading Insurance company which operates across India and offers a range of insurance products for financial planning and life insurance. They have aggressive growth plans for India and want to become market leaders within the product portfolio they cater to. They are looking for an AVP Sales & Marketing to drive the entire gamut of business initiatives for India.
Job Description - Reporting to the Head - e Commerce India, the key accountabilities will be:
Marketing:
- Develop leads generation campaign' with measurable call-to-actions
- Identify 'unconventional communication media' with segmentation approach to reach-out to under-serviced market segments
- Convert serious business pitch in to highly engaging audio-visual multimedia content with use of informality & humor in communication to educate targeted prospects about insurance concepts
- Revamp all forms of communication & content at all customer touch-points
- Create marketing campaigns to improve referrals, renewals and up-sell to existing customers
Sales Conversion & Leads Generation:
- Establish & head a national leads generation team to deliver marketing content directly to prospects
- Convert leads to profitable sales through phone sales teams, website and field sales force
- Accountable for budgeted revenue targets, sales conversion and leads generation volumes
Research & Strategy:
- Identify top 10 customers' segments and customize promotion strategy for target prospects
- Develop a unique selling proposition (USP) and build a distinct brand positioning in targeted market segments
- Use psychology research tools to study triggers & deterrents influencing buying decisions
- Conduct competition analysis to identify strategic business differentiators
- Conduct market feasibility study to pioneer new business opportunities
The Successful Candidate - Education background in Marketing and Business Management. An experience in teleshopping, advertising agencies, retail, insurance industries and blended expertise in Business Development, Direct Marketing & Sales would be preferred. Hands-on experience in executing a business brief from conceptualization, leads generation to sales conversions would be a must. Specialist in creating audio visual content with an emotional connect to communicate product & services benefits to end consumers would be desirable. Must have experience in new product & services launches using marketing media, field & phone sales force and Internet.
